Project
Provide the Ikea restaurant of a new entrance automatic door after its renovation in 2006.
Introductory propositions
To create a main entrance door for the restaurant in harmony with the new interior design carried out by Javier Mariscal and Fernando Salas. The entrance had to form part of the transition between the exterior and the interior of the restaurant, designed as a small forest of beech and oaks. The access solution had to be simultaneously functional and elegant.
Manusa solution
Manusa designed, made and installed a gate of two automatic sliding doors in the entrance of the restaurant. The new automatic doors, beside being functional, were designed to perfectly integrate into the space where they had to be located, with colours and signing which suit the interior design, offering not only a touch of distinction, but also helping to maintain the internal climate of the restaurant.
