Introductory propositions
The entrance to the chemist was a Modernist style wooden door with glass panels which needed to be automated, maintaining the original design. The location of the pharmacy, in the heart of Barcelona made it necessary for a robust, reliable and low maintenance automation.

Manusa personalized the opening structure to integrate the door leaves in a simple and effective way. The extraordinary weight of the mobile leaf, made with a wooden structure plus original glass panelling, required the use of Manusa’s strongest operator. The reliable and low-maintenance operator, Toro, made it ideal to support the high level public transit flow that entered and exited the chemist door.
