At Manusa, we are celebrating 60 years of history. Six decades of evolution, learning and innovation in the sector of automatic doors, industrial doors, and smart access systems. A journey that began in 1966 and which, since then, has allowed us to grow and adapt to the needs of each moment, always maintaining the same idea: to develop access solutions that provide comfort, safety and efficiency.

Manusa’s origins lie in a small family business dedicated to the manufacture of manual overhead cranes. Years later, the company began its journey into the development of automatic doors using pneumatic technology, at a time when such solutions were still uncommon. Since then, Manusa has been committed to innovative technology that facilitates and improves accessibility for people in all kinds of spaces.

Over the past 60 years, the evolution of automatic doors has changed the way we interact with spaces. What began as a system designed primarily to improve convenience at specific access points has now evolved into a key technology for improving accessibility, optimising pedestrian flow, energy efficiency, security and smart building management.

Today, we continue to look to the future with the same drive for innovation that started it all. Currently, Manusa is home to over 500 professionals, and every year we design, manufacture, install and maintain more than 20,000 access points worldwide. This evolution has enabled us to expand our international presence, with our own branches in more than 90 countries.
