1. Radiological shielding

Designed for diagnostic imaging areas or laboratories, the door incorporates a lead layer of up to 3 millimetres that guarantees effective protection against ionising radiation. This shielding is integrated into the door leaf without affecting its airtightness, fire resistance or sound insulation, offering a safe and functional solution.

2. Maximum airtightness for controlled environments

The model is part of the range of airtight doors that Manusa has developed for the healthcare sector. Its perimeter seal, together with its fast and silent opening and closing cycles, guarantees the highest air permeability classification (Class D according to UNE-EN 12207:2017). This airtightness maintains stable pressure and temperature conditions in operating theatres, laboratories and ICUs, prevents cross-contamination and facilitates disinfection thanks to its smooth, screw-free surfaces.

The leaf incorporates a high-pressure laminate (HPL) coating and a frame with intumescent material that expands when exposed to fire, maximising insulation in the event of a fire. This design provides flame, smoke and gas containment for at least 60 minutes (EI 60 rating). The model complies with the most demanding fire resistance and smoke control standards (UNE EN 1634-1:2016+A1:2018 and UNE EN 13501-2:2023), ensuring structural integrity and tightness in the event of a fire.
