Customised curtains, aesthetic and functional integration of high-speed doors in industrial spaces

At Manusa, we design high-speed doors tailored to our customers’ requirements, combining functionality and aesthetics to ensure they blend seamlessly into your premises.

As part of this integration, customising the doors to match your brand identity helps to ensure they integrate aesthetically into the space. One of the most distinctive visual features is the door curtain of the high-speed doors.

At Manusa, we offer a wide range of customisation options for the curtains, such as screen-printing, plotter printing or peepholes, so that each solution meets both your operational needs and the image of your space. In this way, we ensure that each door not only optimises your processes but also blends in visually with the building.

Furthermore, by having all these processes internalised, we can offer faster response times and greater flexibility in order delivery.

Below, we outline some of the main customisation options available.

Screen-printing of images and signage

One of the customisation options for high-speed roll-up, fold-up and self-repairing doors is screen-printing on the curtain. This process allows corporate logos, signage or decorative images to be incorporated directly onto the door’s surface. In this way, the door not only fulfils its function of dividing sectors and controlling access, but can also become an element of visual communication within an industrial or logistics facility.

As well as reinforcing corporate identity, screen-printing enables the integration of functional signage that contributes to production or logistics processes within the facility. For example, safety pictograms, traffic signs or internal signage can be included to help identify the different work areas.

Plotter printing

For certain projects, it is also possible to apply customised prints using a plotter, further expanding the design possibilities for the curtain. A motif can be printed across 100% of the curtain’s surface, offering full customisation. These solutions allow the door’s appearance to be tailored even more closely to its surroundings or the overall design of the premises.

Customised peepholes

Another common option for customising the curtain is the inclusion of peepholes. These transparent windows allow full visibility from both sides of the door, which may be necessary in facilities with constant traffic of people, vehicles or machinery.

The peepholes can be configured to suit the project’s requirements, in both shape (square or rectangular) and size, position or number within the fabric. It is also possible to choose different types of finishes, such as transparent or micro-perforated peepholes.

In this way, the visibility they provide helps to enhance safety at access points and facilitates coordination between operators during certain logistics or production operations.

Natural light in external entrances

In the case of high-speed doors installed in external entrances, such as fold-up models, the peepholes can also offer the added benefit of allowing natural light into the building. This reduces reliance on artificial lighting at certain times of the day, helping to improve the facility’s energy savings. At the same time, natural light helps to create more comfortable and pleasant working environments for people.

All these options allow you to configure high-speed doors tailored to the functional and aesthetic needs of each facility. If you need solutions for your industrial doors, please contact us to find the most suitable solution for your project.
