A tour through Manusa´s automatic doors in iconic sites

Wherever you go, Manusa opens its doors for you. When visiting other cities around the world, it is easy to find examples of our models in some emblematic buildings, such as museums, monuments, or tourist attractions. With over 20,000 installations throughout 50 years of experience, our automatic doors are present in many parts of the world, offering solutions to every need. We invite you to take a brief tour of some of these unique projects. Will you join us?
Examples of Manusa doors can be found in several American countries. This is the case of Brazil. In Belo Horizonte, the prestigious brand of tableware and fragrances Tania Bulhões has installed an elegant automatic sliding door at the main entrance of its shop, which blends in perfectly with the traditional wooden exterior enclosure. In Rio de Janeiro, the Teatro Popular de Niterói, a cultural centre of reference in the city, utilises anti-panic doors that guarantee people's safety in case of emergency. And in Panama City, a system of centrally opening sliding doors welcomes you to the Town Center Mall, one of the country's main shopping centres.
If your destination is Asia, in Malaysia, you will find Manusa automatic doors in several of the main shopping centres, such as the one at the main entrance of the Suria KLCC Mall, in the spectacular Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. Sunway Putra, located in the same city, utilises 24 sliding doors, while just outside Petaling Jaya, Sunway Pyramid features 89 Manusa automatic doors. If you're flying into Seoul, South Korea, you might walk through the curved sliding doors at Incheon International Airport, the country's largest. And in the United Arab Emirates, 12 automatic platform closure doors were installed at a station on The Pointe monorail in Dubai.
Manusa is also very present in Europe. In Lisbon, sliding doors speed up the entrance to two of the city's main cultural landmarks: the Belém Cultural Centre and the undulating contemporary building of the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, both in one of the busiest districts of the capital city of Portugal. In the UK, the Gucci shop in The Bicester Village, a shopping centre in Oxfordshire, has a transparent sliding door at its entrance, and one of London's main airports, Gatwick, has three non-return corridors to facilitate passenger screening. In another tourist destination, Greece, 80 platform screen doors were manufactured and installed for the Thessaloniki metro.
If you are travelling around Spain, several emblematic places in Barcelona have Manusa doors, for example, the official shop of the Sagrada Familia by Antoni Gaudí, or the platform of the Cuca de Llum, the funicular that goes up to the Tibidabo amusement park, at the highest point of the city. The entrances to the new circular kiosks in Madrid's bustling Puerta del Sol consist of curved, centrally opening sliding doors that blend in perfectly with their avant-garde glass design.
Whatever your destination, a Manusa door may open a way for you in some emblematic places – a reflection of our international vocation and our commitment to offering solutions adapted to each space.
